A Greek Mythology Retelling of the Three Fates

Queens of Moirai is a greek mythology retelling of the Three Fates and their descendants. For some reason, there are not many stories about the Three Fates - ironically, most of the greek mythology retellings are about the male greek gods.

A Unique Dark Fantasy Series

Queens of Moirai is a dark fantasy series with heavy themes of death, isolation, depression, and hopelessness. There are zombies, mythical beasts like dragons and mermaids, hydras, keres, and other vicious creatures.

The Three Fates were often referred to as “The Moirai”. in our story, Moirai is the name of a world (the place where the fates live) and has a different, double meaning, which is that some of our characters will manage to trick the Fates. i.e., they are the rulers and the Fates are the ones who are controlled. Let me know if you figure out who those people are ;)

Origin Story of the Grim Reaper

It’s very hard, maybe impossible, to nail down the origin story of the grim reaper. Which, given how prevalent his image is in our culture, is somewhat strange. i started wondering about this tall, robed figure and asked myself — what do we really know about this figure? and if we know nothing, who is to say that it is a man? why not a tall woman in a mask? why not a vegetarian girl with a zombie horde and an evil queen as her mother?
